For the topping

  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • ½ cup whole milk
  • ½ tablespoon raw sugar

Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 F.

  3. Spoon the mixture into a 9- or 10-inch cast iron skillet. Set aside.
