Philly cheesesteak sloppy Joe sliders combine the best pieces of sloppy Joes and cheesesteaks into the best appetizer, lunch, or dinner. These easy-to-make mini sandwiches can be made ahead of time, reheat well, and be the first option at your next party.
2 pounds ground beef
1 teaspoon seasoned salt
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
12 brioche slider rolls, split
1 tablespoon salted butter
1 medium onion, diced
1 large roasted red pepper, sliced
¼ pound sliced American cheese
Place the ground beef, seasoned salt, and black pepper in a large saute pan and cook for approximately ten minutes, or until the beef has a browned appearance.
After turning off the heat, remove any excess beef fat that may have accumulated. Put aside for later.
Make a butter spread on the inside of each roll, and then brown them in a separate large skillet with the cut side facing down.
As you move the beef to one side of the pan, add the onions and roasted peppers to the side of the pan that is free. Cook them for two to three minutes, or until they have become more tender.
After the heat has been turned off, place slices of American cheese on top of the beef mixture. Sit for a while until the cheese has melted.
The cheesesteak mixture should be placed on top of the roll bottoms, which should then be placed on a serving platter.
Wrap the roll tops around the cheesesteak mixture and set them aside. Immediate serving of sliders with chipotle sauce, if desired, is recommended.
