Ingredients:
- 1 cup almond flour
- 2 tbsp coconut flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 tsp xanthan gum
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp olive oil or melted butter
- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional, for garlic naan)
- Fresh cilantro, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions:
- Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a mixing bowl, combine the almond flour, coconut flour, baking powder, xanthan gum, and salt. Mix well to ensure even distribution of ingredients.
- Add Wet Ingredients: In the same bowl, add the almond milk, egg, and olive oil (or melted butter). Mix until a dough forms. If you’re making garlic naan, add the minced garlic to the dough and mix again.
- Form Dough Balls: Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each portion into a ball.
- Roll Out the Naan: Place a ball of dough between two sheets of parchment paper and roll it out into a thin, oval-shaped naan. Repeat for the remaining balls.
- Bake in the Oven: Carefully transfer the rolled-out naans onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.
- Optional: Broil for Crispiness (Optional): If you prefer a crispier texture, you can broil the naan for an additional 1-2 minutes, watching closely to prevent burning.
- Garnish and Serve: Remove the naan from the oven and sprinkle with chopped fresh cilantro if desired. Allow them to cool slightly before serving.
- Enjoy: Serve your Keto Naan Bread with your favorite low-carb curry or dip. Enjoy!
