How to make it

  • Warm the oven up to 350F and put parchment paper on cookie sheets. Put the sugars and butter in a big bowl or the bowl of a stand mixer.
  • Then, use an electric mixer to beat the sugars and butter together until they are well mixed. Add the dry pudding mix and beat it well.
  • Add the eggs and vanilla extract and mix them well. Mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a different bowl using a whisk.
  • Slowly mix the dry ingredients into the wet ones until everything is well mixed. Add the chocolate chips and mix them in.
  • Take about two tablespoon-sized balls of cookie dough and roll them gently between your hands to make a round ball. Place cookie dough on the baking sheet that has been prepared, leaving at least 2″ between each cookie.
  • Bake at 350F for 10 to 12 minutes. The middles will look very soft, but that’s okay; they’ll keep cooking and get firmer as they cool.
  • Let cookies cool all the way down on the baking sheet before taking them off and eating them.
